purple cows, ted talks, sliced bread & Seth Godin

I’ve been loving the TED talks I discovered through the Curiosity class I took this past term.

Today I watched a few – the one that stood out to me was given by Seth Godin. He makes the point that if you want to succeed as a marketer/in branding/advertising, you need to figure out what is most important and remarkable to people as well as understand that advertising is no longer about interrupting people with obnoxious full page ads, but rather reaching them by incorporating what is important to them and what they care about.
